Founded in 1868, Orwell Park is a co-educational boarding and day school set in a Victorian mansion on the banks of the River Orwell in Suffolk, its grounds home to a rare working Victorian observatory. Admissions Essentials
Children may join Orwell Park from age two, with the main entry points at four and seven. From Year 3, candidates attend a Taster Day, including an English and Maths assessment and a conversational interview with a senior member of staff. Scholarships are available across academic, art, drama, music, design technology, and sport, with academic scholarship days for Year 7 entry typically held in the Autumn term and for Year 5 entry in the Spring.
